Firas Zahabi, leader of the famed Tristar gym in Montreal, which houses UFC greats Georges St-Pierre and Rory MacDonald; has an intelligent and thought out opinion on why he feels MMA will overtake all sports one day:
I think it's going to overtake all sports. There's nothing as intriguing as two men fighting. I don't care how cerebral you are, how educated you are, you understand two men fighting. Basketball might not be your thing, football might not be your thing, but fighting is everybody's thing. Whether
you like it or not, you're intrigued to see the outcome. We all have that primal instinct. You're not born knowing how to play basketball, you learn that. Fighting...everyone understands that.
